Rain reduced the
match to a 33-overs-a-side match. While India made no changes to their playing eleven,
Pakistan made four changes to the eleven that last played the Indians – Rashid
Latif, Basit Ali, Aaqib Javed and Ata-ur-Rehman made way for Shadab Kabir,
Wasim Akram (who was leading the side), Moin Khan and debutant Azhar Mahmood.
