India concede (Srikk)an(o)ther Pakistan series

It was a 37-overs-a-side match. India made just one change to their playing eleven – Kapil Dev made way for Vivek Razdan. Pakistan made one to theirs as well – Zulqarnain was replaced by Saleem Yousuf. On winning the toss, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, India’s skipper, inserted the hosts.

Rameez Raja, whose 32-ball innings included three boundaries, scored 24. He was caught by Maninder Singh. Ravi Shastri broke the 45-run stand. The second-wicket pair put on a dozen. Saeed Anwar, who faced 11 balls, wasn’t in seventh heaven. He was run out. The third-wicket put on 11. Shoaib Mohammad, who faced 63 balls, scored 26. He was run out.
